The field house at United Sports is an area that houses three regulation size basketball courts with a state-of-the art composition surface. These courts have regulation glass backboards and are ideal for leagues, clinics, tournaments, and camps as well as other special events. The addition of four regulation size outdoor courts will enhance the 2000 summer programs. We provide opportunities for player’s ages 7 through adult of all ability levels (novice to advanced) to learn basketball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship from experienced coaches and clinicians.

Leagues
Teams and individuals from 9 years old and older may participate in leagues which run throughout the year. Each league culminates with playoffs to determine a league champion. Every effort is made to have leagues which are competitive as well as provide players of all ages and ability levels opportunities to play.

Tournaments
Special tournaments such as AAU, CYO, and the JV Holiday Tournament are held at United Sports throughout the year. These events attract teams and players from all over the tri-state area who play basketball year round. Plans are also being made to establish United Sports as a home base for an AAU Program for both boys and girls at some point in the future.

Clinics and Instructional Sessions
One time clinics and eight week instructional sessions are offered throughout the year. Players of all ages and levels have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as improve on those they possess by working with our experienced staff. One day clinics focus on a particular skill such as shooting, guard play, big man moves, or defense, while the sessions cover a variety of skills and techniques.

Camps
Our summer camps at United Sports are a great place for young players to learn the fundamentals of the game as well as gain an understanding of team play, dedication, and sportsmanship necessary to become a complete player. We also stress the importance of academic success to the student-athlete.

Coaches and Referees
The individuals who serve as officials and coaches are an integral part of any successful program. At United Sports we pride ourselves in providing top level coaches and officials who have spent many years in basketball. We also welcome those who would like to become part of our network either as a coach or an official. Training will be provided.
