What is SPF 08 Camp?
A faith-based Christian Sports Camp for children and middle
schoolers to have fun playing and learning athletic skills with
an emphasis on bringing God and Sports together.
SPF is:
Sports
Priorities
Faith
SPORTS—Exercise and sports
are important, but we also will be talking with kids about the
more important aspect of exercising their life with God.
PRIORITIES—Commitment
to sports and team means that kids should also have a greater
commitment to God on and off the field.
FAITH—Believing that God
has each child and young person's best interest at heart and
wants to be a part of their life completely. We will teach kids
that God cares about their life, which includes their development
in sports.
"Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined
life in God is far more so, making you fit for both today and
forever.” 1 Timothy 4-7 (The Message)
