Soccer: Player Development Center

"First we make our Attitudes—then our Attitudes make us" — Denis Wheatley

The United Sports Player Development Center is run in conjunction with the United Sports Soccer Academy. The goal of the Development Center is to improve the individual's playing ability (technical and tactical) as well as emphasizing the positive impact a professional attitude has on both soccer development and in life. The program consists of both field training sessions and video analysis sessions each week to encourage players to become students of the game. The players will also be lectured on diet and nutrition to ensure they are looking after themselves off the field so they can perform on the field. The staff of the Development Center are fully licensed coaches with professional playing experience from both the U.S. and Europe. All coaches are eager to share their insights and considerable experiences.

SESSION TOPICS

Session 1: Technical Training—Learn and master many of the techniques such as first touch and passing, shooting, dribbling, moves to beat defenders, heading, defending etc…

Session 2: Attacking play — Learn the principles of attacking both as an individual and as a group. Players will be taught the many attacking patterns and combinations that defenders find almost impossible to defend against. The players will learn to attack in numbers and become creative in the final third.
